Isopods, geckos and botanicals - what we have, and a sneak peak at what's coming next!

Crested geckos

We still have three baby Cresties available from the 2026 season;

Diamond and Crystal

Diamond and Crystal hatched to parents Miss Ruby and Pippin on 9th August 2026,

they are both Lilly whites, with full pinning. Diamond has fabulous white walling.

I expect these two stunners will be a great addition to someones breeding project, or simply cherished as beautiful pets.

Sprout

Sprout hatched to parents Ladybug and Severus on 2nd September 2026.

He's a little Harlequin with lovely markings, as Ladybug is his mother there is a high chance he will develop dalmatian spots.

Sprout is likely the last of Ladybugs babies for a long time as Ladybug will be on a breeding break for 2027.

Klemmeri geckos

Our Neon Day Geckos have produced six more beautiful babies for us who are now available in store. These geckos do well when kept in groups who actively raise their own young, they are diurnal which means that they are awake and active in the daytime - they are very easy to spot in the vivarium due to their striking colours.

Mourning geckos

Our Mourning geckos have been misbehaving recently; hiding their eggs instead of using the nest boxes I provide, because of this we have had the hardest time finding the babies in their giant bioactive vivarium. Thankfully they seem to have snapped out of that behaviour and are now using their designated next boxes again. We currently have six baby mourning geckos available either individually or in nursery jars.

Dendrobates Auratus Super Blue Dart Frogs

We currently have nine baby dart frogs in The Reptile Room with another four tadpoles still growing out. These beautiful little frogs do well in groups of three to six.

Dart frogs are fabulous pets for people looking for a pop of colour in their live planted vivariums. They are better off not handled, more of a look-but-dont-touch species. Just sit back and enjoy their beauty.

Our froglets are all eating flightless Fruit flies and are available from two months out of the water. The first trio are ready now.

White Zebra Isopods

Our Yellow Zebra Isopods have been producing whites for a while now and so I

separated them into their own enclosure and we now have a solid colony of White Zebras available.

Whats coming next

Dendrobates Tinctorious Tumucumaque Dart frogs

Bonnie and Beau have started to breed! It has been a long time coming and I am delighted! I've had Bonnie for well over two years now and set about trying to find her a mate in early 2025, of the six potential boyfriends we bought in only one was suitable for her - Beau. Together they have now produced five viable eggs who will hopefully pop out into tadpoles next week.

Botanicals

As Isopods have become our best seller - by a long way - we are leaning into isopod care and enrichment. I've managed to source a wide selection of botanicals in the form of a variety of seed pods, pine cones, leaf litter and rotten wood. They will be added to our shop next week and depending on how well they are received we either will or will not be stocking them on a permanent basis.

Isopods

Like our Zebras, our Dairy cows and Red Panda King Isopods have also started producing variants

Our Dairy Cows have created a Blizzard and our Red Panda King have given us a Citrus surprise

These variants have been separated and placed into their own enclosures in the hopes that they will begin their own colonies.

Viper Geckos

And last but by no means least - our deadly little trio of Viper geckos have produced their first clutch of eggs!

They are currently incubating with my Klemmeri eggs and I'm hopeful for babies before the year is out.

So now that you are all caught up - what are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments.
