Hermanns Tortoise
Hershel arrived in The Reptile Room in July 2026. He is a five year old Hermanns Tortoise who was surrendered to us due to his previous owners declining health.
Hershel has severe pyramiding and has an overgrown beak that will need filling down. The pyramiding is incurable but we can prevent it from getting worse by providing the correct food and housing conditions. Hershel is a very lively and outgoing little tort who loves to explore the garden.
Hershel comes with his CITES paperwork.

Sulcata Tortoise
Jimmy arrived at The Reptile Room in July 2026. He is a Sulcata Tortoise who was surrendered due to his previous owners declining health.
Although Jimmy is one of the largest tortoise in our care he isn't even half way grown yet - he will get big...VERY BIG!
Jimmy loves to spend his days exploring our garden enclosure, hes very inquisitive but not overly fussed by human interaction. He much prefers to just do his own thing. Hes a bit of a bulldozer so we have had to reinforce a few areas, but that's to be expected with his species, and he will only get stronger. Whoever adopts Jimmy will need a very large and very strong enclosure for him!

Yellow-Foot Tortoise
Bowser was surrendered to us in July 2026. He is VERY large 18 year old Yellow Foot Tortoise . He was surrendered to us due to his previous owners no longer having the space for him, Bowser started out as a tiny baby tortoise who fast out grew five enclosures and is now at the stage where he needs a full garden to explore daily. Anyone looking to adopt him will have to prove that they have such a space for him to roam safely.

Horsefield Tortoise
Sheldon arrived in The Reptile Room in July 2026. He is a Horsefield Tortoise who was surrendered to us due to his previous owners declining health.
When Sheldon arrived he had very overgrown nails but we were able to get them filed down.
As horsefield torts carry pathogens that can be harmful to other species of tortoises he is being kept in a separate area of the house and cannot have access to our tortoise garden enclosure. We would very much love for him to find a new home quickly so that he can get his little feet on the grass whilst the weather is good.

Marginated Tortoise
Marjorie joined us in July 2026. She is a tiny one year old Marginated Tortoise. She was surrendered due to her previous owner moving home and being unable to take her with him.
Majorie is a little sweetheart in perfect health with her CITES papers.

coming soon....
As soon as a space opens up, our next new arrival will be placed here for you to see.
