This week we have had the strangest baby crested gecko hatch out, well baby geckos - conjoined twins! Smeagol and Gollum. They pipped early this morning, but by late evening there was no progress. Who's in, who's out and who's surprising us in The Reptile Room. What a month we have had! The launch of our website has been a huge boost for us and our beasties; with 14 adoptions we were able to upgrade our room heater to better maintain an ambient room temp of 22 degrees Celsius, which means that we don't have to provide supplemental heat to the geckos in The Reptile Room, (with the exception of the Klemmeri geckos who need 30.C).
